much closer game than the final score shows, Strafford got out to a 6-0 lead and never trailed, constantly a 4-7 point lead throughout then STJ began fouling at the end to try and get closer but couldn't make many ahots in the last quarter.

Great game to watch.. Unfortunate for our Lady Tigers they came out on the wrong end. Strafford played tough physical defense and had a solid game plan. They are going to be a team in southwest missouri to watch for the next 3 years. The coaches twin daughters are solid ball players. Good Luck to the Strafford Ladies next weekend.
I didn't get to see this game, but I did see Strafford play once earlier in the season. I was very impressed by Hayley Frank -- she's going to be a real star.

02/24/16 During listening/watching the Licking v Houston C3D10 semifinal broadcast by the Houston Herald live, this was uttered about a potential C3D9 sectional opponent,, "the Lady Tigers, I don't think they are as tough as they used to be."
and this from the Mohawk about the winner of C3D10 having a chance at a FF berth.
With St. James and Fatima taking a step back, the winner of this district could end up making a quarterfinal run and having a shot at a Final Four berth.
In the C3D10 final Willow Springs picked the wrong 4Q to have a meltdown, with inj. Kianna Rothermich in street clothes. End Result. Houston played a steady ending quarter. BTW, similar to the wobble being Salem's halftime song, I guess the MG jam is Cotton Eyed Joe.
The St. James Lady Tigers did not step back and were tough in 2015-16, though counted out by some. Who believed they'd return to a quarterfinal in 15-16? Fatima exceeded expectations, new coach, graduation of seniors. I wonder if the quarterfinal will be moved back (2006 last quarterfinal) to Boswell Auditorium in Lebanon?
