Free throws free throws free throws. I believe NMCC was 8-18 while Strafford was 20-23.

Also, Strafford finished the game on an 8-0 run.

I had a coach tell me years ago, "Free throws don't win all the games, just the close ones." Willie Jimerson goes 20-21 against Charleston at the line in the sectional game, but uncharacteristically goes 3-8 yesterday.

A very good and fun game to watch. Strafford got after it on defense. The zone d they ran seemed to give NMCC trouble. On a side note, I don't know the Strafford players name but the dunk to tie the game was impressive. Wow.

Sad part was that 2 NMCC players had a chance for off rebound and put back to tie the game with :01 left. Fought each other for it and lost it! I feel for those kids. They were up by 7 late in the 4th. Just did not finish
