Story on Sikeston victory over Carbondale

Big win for the Sikeston Bulldogs 12-0 and ranked #1 in class 4. Sikeston defeated Carbondale 63-57. Carbondale has a 12-5 record. After reviewing some of the teams Carbondale has played in the St. Louis area and the strength of their team. It appears Sikeston can indeed compete with most of the class 4 schools in Missouri and very well could be a state champion. I have Sikeston walking thru Districts and sectionals but a minor problem could be on the horizon when Sikeston meets Parkway West in the quarter-finals in class 4 with the winner advancing to the final four. Sikeston Train, I believe you should make reservations in Columbia for the final four weekend.

Carbondale defeated Cahokia 52-49 ( Cahokia has a record of 5-10 ) Cahokia is near East St. Louis.

Carbondale defeated Cardinal Ritter 53-36. Ritter has a record of 8-5.

Belleville Althoff 12-2 #1 ranked small school in the St. Louis area defeated Carbondale 74-58.

Thanks Sikeston Train

Carbondale got a new player eligible against Sikeston. Shahere Lark....he scored 20 points to lead the team in Tuesday. I don't know how he will perform going forward, but he was definitely a difference-maker in the game against Sikeston.
