How does NCA get the 3 seed? Weaubleau is better than them with a better record. Buffalo might be seeded too low as well. Don’t guess it matters. I would be shocked if it’s not Eldo vs Miller in the finals. The Stockton coach who seeded this must be a state rankings voter.

Normally tournaments are seeded by the coaches involved not by the coach who is hosting the tournament.

Ok maybe Weaubleau is not as good as I thought. NCA probably should be 3 seed. If Miller starts the game 0-16 from 3 like they did last night they will have their hands full.

Miller should be the #1 seed They just beat Eldo by 14 for goodness sakes.

And yes, Weaubleau should be seeded ahead of NCA but it's fairly close and not as egregious as Miller not getting the #1 seed.

Probably seeded tournament before the game last week and Eldo beat them in the finals last year

I agree with The Move. Teams are normally seeded weeks in advance before the tournament. Buffalo didn’t have very many games in before Christmas break. Based on how they are doing now, they should be a higher seed but it doesn’t work like that. Whether Miller is seeded 1 or El Do is seeded 1, the outcomes should be the same for both teams—in the championship.

Nice win for Miller. Hard to beat a good team twice in 12 days. Merrick really stepped up with Hadlock and Helton in foul trouble. She led them with 21 points.
