STL traded for damaged goods

The past 15 days...

.333 avg
.500 obp (not a misprint)
.728 slg
1.227 ops

He's been working out and has gained 10 lbs (back to his pre-surgery weight of 205). I think Mo knew what he needed to do to finally come back fully from the offseason surgery. He's gone from being a laughing stock (to the short sighted at least) to a potent and flexable asset.

The most important thing in your post is 15 days. I hope the guy is incredible for the next 13 months. He is still hitting in the .220s???
I'm rooting for him.

Me too. Even before the trade, I was asking on here and elsewhere 'Brandon Moss come on down?' because I felt he would be a good fit when Holliday went down. After watching his interview just now it's clear he gets it. Reminds me a little bit of Spizeio when he came over.

I think he wanted to contribute so bad he was stressing himself out. If he can regain his strength and hit .250 with 25 dingers he will be what we need next year.

Don't talk about Speezers. I still get a tad emotional when I hear his name. Man, I absolutely loved that dude. Trainwreck and all. Him, Weavs, and Finley are quite possibly some of my all-time fav short time Birds. I think I have a soft spot for the SoCal dudes.
