stctkt, you have stated Tolton is a competitive high school basketball team. I stated Sikeston will clock Tolton in a shootout in Columbia.

Tolton will visit Borgia 3-2 tonight. Who wins this game? stctkt, are you on Tolton tonight?

An added bonus is a " Fried Chicken and roast Beef dinner " @ Borgia high school starting @ 4:30---8:00 PM.

I didn’t get chance to reply to this earlier. But looks like Tolton picked up big win tonight!

stctkt---I attended the Borgia-Tolton game tonight. Tolton has a good basketball team as they defeated Borgia fairly easy. Tolton has Coban Porter 6'3" Sophomore who has great quickness and good ball handling skills but need work on his shooting. He has about a 20 foot arch on his outside shoot which resulted in zero field goals. Tolton was well organized, played all roster players and defeated Borgia by 12 points.

I might " Walk Back " my prediction on Sikeston clocking Tolton but the the Bulldogs will win big and most likely get the clock running.

Players to watch for Tolton

1. Beau Washer 6'3" Guard-Forward
2. Adian Ogle--- 6'7" Forward-Center
3. 3-5 good ball handlers

I must give stctkt an A for his post on Tolton. They were a competitive basketball team against Borgia tonight.

Duly noted Metro. Would have enjoyed watching this game. I think Tolton is a year away from making a serious push to a final 4. They are relatively young, believe the big kid is only senior.

That big kid probably will be replaced by incoming 9th grader Jevon Porter next season, who is already 6'5" at least. Tolton does play hard and they all shoot the ball well enough to win any night.

Hey Hangman, I attended the Borgia game last night. I came away impressed but Tolton will experience major problems with the Sikeston Bulldogs in Columbia. The question I have for you is about Coban Porter 6'3" sophomore. Coban has some serious speed and quickness but needs a complete makeover on his outside shooting and finishing on drives to the basket. I see Coban as Tolton's point guard for the next two years but Tolton has other good ball handlers as well. I hope Coban get a " Shot Doctor " to work with him because he could be a special big point guard. I'm guessing Coban is the quickest of all past and future Porters.

Hang, the future looks bright for Tolton. After looking @ class 3 district 7, Tolton could win district 7 and advance and win a sectional game with district 6. The competition for Tolton will be come from class 3 district 5 ( Trinity, Lutheran North or Transportation Law ). It's very possible for Tolton to be class 3 final four team this year. I will walk back the class four teams I listed who will be waiting for Tolton.

Thanks for the correction by Semo 3Rfan and mid-mo dogfather.

Dogfather, tell us the male Porters end with the 8th grader, Jevon Porter? Confirmed on the class 4 opponents who will be waiting on Tolton in Springfield.
