It's been a long time since I have signed in to MoSports and when I finally do, I see your post to me just minutes ago. Big 8 minds think alike!
As you know, posting the Pick 'Em match-ups each week is easy when compared to keeping a leaders tally of the contest picks (as you have done so very well - thank you!). For personal reasons, I was going to bow out of posting the match-ups this season but I will do my best to post match-ups if you are willing to do the hard work of keeping score yet again. What would you like to do?
Ill keep score either way. If you want me to post matchups too i can do that. I enjoy doing the big 8 pickem to much to let it die
BTW...maybe you can help me with some Lamar Tiger info. I'm trying to keep a few of the Big 8 Conference records updated. I see that Lamar currently holds the state's longest winning streak at 35 (regular season + post season). Congratulations!
Do you know what Lamar's longest streak for consecutive REGULAR season games (no post season games) and for consecutive HOME games (including post season) might be?
I could look it up on the MSHSAA site but their archived data is usually unreliable. I miss the old MoSports archives.

Lamar had never gone undefeated until 15. So regular season dates back to the loss at cj in 14. Home games goes back to the hitch&pitch loss in 13
So what i came up with was 17 regular season cause cj was reg season finale in 14.

Hmmm...I've got to go back to check my math. I have Lamar at 25 consecutive home game wins (including post-season). Likely, you are correct.
Either way, Lamar now has the conference record for Consecutive Home Game Wins (was 24 held by Cassville).
The current conference record for Consecutive Regular Season Wins is 38 (by Cassville). Lamar would be threatening that record this season had it not been for the CJ spoiler games.
Cassville had the conference record for Consecutive Wins (27) until Lamar took that title away last season with 35 consecutive wins. That's a lot of wins-in-a-row and I don't think anyone is expecting the Tigers to lay down any time soon!
This group is like 14. Lost alot of the names from last year but alot of guys with talent coming back. Nothings a given in high school football but my hope is to get to 48 wins with a matchup against trinity in the semis for the defacto state championship. Got alot of games to play between now and then though
