I guess you haven't seen the tape of Lindsey Graham talking about cause for impeachment back when Clinton was in the bucket. HE said there does not even have to be a crime involved, it's about cleansing the office of the president.
Clinton perjured himself. Which is a crime.
The point remains the same, if our standard is "bad behavior is impeachable" them a majority of our presidents would have been impeached. I know it's hard for you, but can you respond to THAT statement.
Not only that but the Starr investigation was for at least 10 specific/named crimes as opposed to a fishing expedition to see if they could find a single crime (which none were found).
I didn't say ANYTHING about whether or not Clinton actually committed a crime. I said Lindsey Graham said there doesn't have to to be a crime to impeach a president. If any WH ever need cleansing it's this one! You seem to forget the Mueller report shows several incidents of obstruction of justice, I guess you only know about the Barr version of that report. That's not just bad behavior.
Sets a dangerous precedent. It's funny and justified until it happens to your candidate...then this two year witchhunt trying to find a crime (any crime) instead of actually investigating a charged criminal offense would be an outrage.
Whitewater was investigated for YEARS with no charges. same with Benghazi. The perjury only came about because of the investigation of sexual contact between two consenting adults. That was only a big deal because of where it took place, not because it was crime. So now Trump is YOUR candidate?
Did I say that? You sure like to infer things that weren't said. My point was, if it were YOUR candidate, would you be cheering for baseless impeachment proceedings or a years long waste of time and money?
After the way the dems have slandered, lied, cheated and used every dirty trick in the book, I actually can't wait for the next dem president, if there actually ever is one. He is going to endure a wrath unseen in history.
