I think all coaches try to teach their teams this and MU is being ridiculed on a board like this for it?

I love anonymous sources. Dang liberal media A certain poster intimated that ESPN never wrote bad about SEC...maybe he forgot OTL. Now we get this 'anonymous' player. Good stuff

Players already admintting that they wouldn't do it if they were 9-0. Have you seen these demands? Do this and that and we are not discussing anything. Share our beliefs or else. I find it funny how these players take a picture in a cafateria that gives them free food better than most rich people eat on a daily basis, wearing hundreds of dollars worth of free clothes, $100 dollar free shoes, and getting an education that most people will pay payments on for 20 years of their lives. But those guys are mistreated.

The thing that's right is to do what you signed on to do and play football. they have every right not to play but when they make that decision they need to man up and turn their gear in and go pay tuition like all the other students do.

Different story if this were actually a fight for the right reasons. It's not. The players that joined in are pawns. And because race is the issue being used to mask the actual issue, the coaches and admin had to go along. I think that's what sticks with most. At least it does for me.

I give kudos to GP and the other players for standing with their teammates but we shouldn't act like there was really a choice or that this would have happened last year. I guarantee that a good amount of them weren't on board.

Either way it just shows how much power these college athletes really have. I'll be waiting for the strike for a salary.

How come "stand by your team mates" only applies to the majority of the team "standing by" these few who allowed themselves to be pawns? How about asking yourself, "Does this behavior happen on my team?" If the answer is "No", then your obligation is to "stand by" your team and not hold the whole team hostage.

They can strike all they want, the people that want to play for the right reasons will get a shot and you will see football be played for the right reasons.
