Stanberry boys Head Coach Nick Groomer got his 200th career win tonight against Albany, 64-21.
Before Coach Groomer, a Stanberry graduate, took over for the Bulldogs, no other coach had more than two 20-win seasons during their tenure. Last year, Nick earned his 5th straight 20-win season, winning a 4th straight district championship and 3rd straight Grand River Conference championship. In addition, the Bulldogs also made their 3rd trip to the Final Four in 4 years and won an undefeated State Championship with a record of 31-0 in the 2015-2016 season.
Just wanted to recognize this accomplishment and congratulate Coach Groomer. He's a hometown guy and a great coach, but more importantly a great person and friend. Congratulations, Nick!
