Heard benches cleared late in that game, anyone else heard this??

You mean right before the postgame handshake?
Nope, heard it happened during the game, after an interception, and the refs missed the entire thing and assessed off setting penalties. This came from a Liberty fan.

The benches didn't clear but it was one of the best fights I have seen in a long time. The ref's had no clue it was even happening. The rookie Bluejay punched the Falcon in the facemask with a great overhand right then stood over the top of him and spit on him. Feathers were flying!!

Okay, thanks for update!

The Liberty kid is the one who spit on the Staley kid. And the Liberty kid started the fight. He lost his composure because he is a High School kid! I wouldn't call him "Trash" just a kid that doesn't like to lose!!! I honestly wouldn't call any of these athletes playing at this level "Trash" because they obviously have put in a lot more work than most people know just to be out there between the lines on a Friday night! Outside the lines and in the bleachers, That's where you will find the "Trash"!!

Liberty cops tell me they have to bring out extra when Staley is in town. Starting fights, openly carrying drugs and smoking weed, and generally acting like trash. Now you know where it came from.

There are idiots in every town and at every school. I still think that any kid that is playing on Friday night deserves some respect. I don't care if its Raytown, Liberty, Platte County, Kearney or any other school, those boys these days don't just show up in August and play until they get knocked out. The mass majority them are putting in work from late May all summer long and doing their best to represent themselves, their team, their school and their town. And that in my eyes is preparing them for life after football. Whether their Dads are on welfare or their Dad is VP of Cerner the Boys are doing it themselves or else they probably wouldn't be between the lines under the lights.
That is not "Trash"

Sorry...but treating opponents with classless disrespect is about as WT as it gets.

JN - I am not sure of what level you played at. But I played college ball and then coached for quite a few years. I have witnessed some of the classiest, quietest kids you have ever met completely change once the ref tosses the coin up in the air. Not many people in this world knows half of what goes on in the bottom of a pile. The sport is a rough sport that we encourage these boys to be as mean and nasty as they can from an early age. Once they get all of those 17 year old emotions pumped up till they are about to explode you can expect them to make a mistake every now and then.

I don't like the fact that the Liberty kid stood over the Staley DB and spit on him but He is a 17 year old kid that is watching his season come to an end. A season that he worked his ass off and probably the best season the Jays have had in a decade and he lost his composure. That's because he is a 17 year old kid that is going to college on a full ride baseball scholarship and for some A-Hole to call him White Trash on a public forum is the pot calling the kettle black!

I was D1 and had two school records, subsequently broken. The behavior I have seen from Staley over the last several years indicates they have some issues in regard to acting with class. Cases in point: what the police officers have told me about their representative student body at games. Two: when they danced on the "K" in Kearney after winning there at Kearney last year. What if Kearney had done that the two times they have beaten Webb at home? Different story right--they would be the biggest WT out there. Double standards. Oh, there are many other things I won't get into. It's alright. Opinions are like A-holes, and everyone's got one. This site has a lot of them--Aholes AND opinions.
