Wow I went to the first half of this one....................looked like Staley wouldn't get a first down let alone score! HUGE win for the Falcons who have struggled (that is an understatement) vs. this very UP Class 6 in the KC metro.

Back to the C5 favorites role goes Staley. Park Hill will be very dangerous if they can get that passing offense going...............

One of the most boring games I have ever sat through. Staley had NO business winning that game. BOTH defenses were amazing, neither offense could get much going (until Staley final drive). Staley special teams were better and probably won the game for them, PH made some very poor coaching decisions down the stretch and had 2 really bad penalties. The Falcons just kept plugging away and found the end zone. The last 5 minutes were the best part of the entire game. I liked PH wildcat type O early, felt like they went away from it too soon.

And Liberty North put up 24 points on Park Hill. They must be "Elite?" Maybe even as good as a St. Louis "Elite" team?

They did score 24, I did not see the LN/PH game. I saw LN/Staley and believe LN to be better than PH. I certainly did not call them elite, but their D is very solid from what I saw on Friday night.

I was impressed by the play in the trenches from both teams, but I think the Park Hill coaching staff should really be disappointed as they let one slip away and a team that looked a lot less talented got the win.

Ultimately Staley stuck with their gameplan and just kept chugging a long. While they could've easily folded up, they were getting absolutely dominated in the box allllllll game, eventually they broke a couple big runs and scored when it mattered most.

At times it looked as though Park Hill was trying to run two completely different offenses congruently, and because of that they never got in a rhythm. #27 Jaylin Noel for Park Hill was an impressive skill player though, and I also thought #90 James Gore was a great interior player.

I was at the first half of this one (have an ongoing habit of leaving great games tooooo early LOL) and I totally agree Park Hill should have simply run right at that fast, athletic Staley D. Even though the score was 10-zilch I had the feeling this was much closer to the Staley team I saw early in the season with the exception the O Line was getting manhandled (which I suspect Park Hill has done to almost all their opponents).

Still think there is ample hope for both sides: this Friday's NKC at Raytown game will be a very interesting one in C5 but still wonder how either (and Fort for that matter) will fare vs. the Falcons D in particular. For Park Hill to advance very far the offense has to start clicking on all cylinders............asking for that come Week 9 may be too late, though BUT I liked the athletes they have as well as any team I've seen this year.

I’m excited for NKC vs Raytown as well. If NKC loses, could Staley get the 1 seed? They must have a stronger schedule strength based on conference alone.

They are so close right now I would imagine Staley would move ahead of NKC should the Hornets lose at Raytown (very tempted to go check this game out Friday night). On the other end it really doesn't matter what the Jays do because Fort upset them a couple of weeks ago. That district title game (barring a pair of total shockers.......Raytown has done that the past two years) will be at Fort regardless of Friday results.

Staley has to beat Liberty, Liberty popped them in the mouth last year and Staley never really recovered.

History could repeat. Liberty got a very banged up Staley the week after the Park Hill war. That being said I did not see the Falcons sustain any key injuries this past Friday night. Actually when Staley and NKC faced off last year it was never, ever close.
