I believe 1986. Nice feel good story, unfortunately ended up in Class 6 which won't end well come districts.
Not yet but I have seen one of their very close game opponents Raytown. Central is a very nice story but extremely far from a C6 contender.
Just saw they beat NKC. They play Fort next week so that is a ? and have Oak Park , but shouldn't have any problems with Truman and Excelsior. Even if they lose in first round of C6 districts they would have a 7-3 or 8-2 season. When is the last time they had a record like that?

Fort will be all over Central. They were very fortunate to beat the same Raytown you all beat very easily last night.
Forts starting qb is injured and their offense is going to be pretty one dimensional until he comes back.
They raised some eye brows last season and returned almost their entire starting line up this year. Would contend if still in Class 5 but their season comes to an end against Liberty North in the Quarterfinals. Still a darn good team!

The only thing I remember of Ol'Ross Boss if that he didn't shy away from scoring 100. A little part of me loved that the end of his career was getting his teams ass kicked every week.
00s were pretty sub-par after 2003/2004. Staley took so much away in student population. I think the recent redistricting helped even it back out.
Staley opened in 2008. I believe OP was 7-3 in 2007 then 6-5 in 2009 before the wheels came completely off.
