Poplar Bluff opens their season at St. james this season. I'm afraid that's gonna be ugly. Ellington handled them pretty good in the Jamboree at P.B. last week.

Looks like St. James called off the dogs in the 2nd half and and especially in the 4th qtr. Wouldn't expect anything less from the coaching staff there, very good program for a long time.

Rolla dropped them. Heard something about Rolla wanting to strengthen their schedule. If that is the case, it is laughable. St. James has a 9-3 record against Rolla over the last ten seasons, so why drop a team that beats you 75% of the time if it really was a strength of schedule issue? St. James vs Rolla is a county rivalry that fills the gyms to capacity every time the games are played, both boys and girls. Whatever the reason for Rolla's decision, it is a shame that they won't meet this year.

Rolla had to add Bolivar because they joined their conference. They tried to reschedule with St. James but could not find a time to play that worked for both team’s schedule. They did strengthen their schedule but that is not why St. James was lost.
