St. Elizabeth wins their district

The St. Elizabeth Lady Hornets look to defend their state title and took the first step last night beating Crocker 2-0 in 11 Innings to claim the Class 1 District 6 Championship. They will host the Montrose Lady Jays tomorrow at the St. Elizabeth Ball Park.

It looks like St Elizabeth will not be making a return trip to the final four along with Norborne.

None of the 4 teams that made it to the State Finals last year will be returning this year. There were a lot of low scoring games to get there this year.
