@millerbleach @fbfan23 I wouldn't call Forsyth a jv team. They are a varsity caliber team that could hang with most Class 1 teams and for sure hang at the 8 man level. I've been critical of our scheduling in the past but in this case I think it's just fine. Points don't matter for us, we just need an opponent that will make us play and I believe Forsyth will. Heck they could beat us if we don't stay healthy and control the line. If Greenfield wasn't in a basketball school mentality we would be playing you guys tomorrow night and now there is no game since that other team canceled. Sucks for those kids and parents that now will only have 2 home games. And the only 2 games you'd even go to fbfan

HOKEaJOKE keep scheduling jv teams every year, you have an excuse not to schedule greenfield because we are 8 man but what about the years past when we were in different conferences and Lockwood dodged Greenfield for years. We traveled to central Kansas to find a decent opponent and Lockwood did what schedule another jv team?

Forsyth isnt a JV team. They are a class 3 varsity team in the 3rd yr of a new program and have to play a JV schedule according to MSHSAA. And it was GF that wanted to schedule only 8 man teams, Lockwood dodged nothing.

Greenfield basketball gurus over there wanted no part of 11 man football. If they would have they would be right in the thick of things in the SRVC. It's really unfortunate for the players and fans because there is enough talent there to compete. Now no one gets to see them play away and now no one gets to see them tomorrow night because of the game being cancelled. Just admit that the powers that be are softening the ol wildcats. It's not the Greenfield Wildcats of the 70s, 80s and 2000s.

We never dodged you guys when we was in the WEMO. In fact I remember Coach Cornish telling us he tried to get Greenfield on the schedule numerous times back then but Greenfield wouldn't and so he quit trying. Those days are all long gone. The only Dade County super bowl we get now is in Mighty Mites

At 409 they will be a large Class 2.
