I know there's gonna be a huge following from Lockwood up to there which should make for an awesome atmosphere. We haven't played our best in awhile but we've found ways to get it done. It's time for a break out this friday.

For 12 weeks Greenfield has not been in the pick em and won't until they get back into the SRVC. What home school team are they even playing this week or should I say what team will forfeit again this week.

Greenfield doesn't have as many srvc losses as Lockwood

For losing a very good player Lockwood has done pretty good this year... I hope they beat Midway yuck can't believe I said that.. Its time for the Srvc to beat the Wemo.. I miss Greenfield being an 11 man team and I hope they return soon.

I'm not dogging I was just stating my opinion that Greenfield wouldn't Turbo Lockwood and even your own fans have said you guys haven't played anyone... I guess if that makes me a troll so be it.. Like I said beat Stanberry/Rockport next week and I'll be cheering Greenfield on hoping they win it..

Diamond compared to Liberty Yeah their not that great.. Diamond Compared to the Srvc their alright.. Yeah and Sarcoxie beat Diamond and Lockwood beat Sarcoxie doesn't mean you'd turbo Lockwood just bc Diamond beat them. Get back to 11 man and we wouldn't even be having this Convo

I'm not from Greenfield (although the fishing is great!).

You say a lot of negative things about a lot of teams. Lamar, Midway, and pretty much any Spring River team not named Jasper. You can bring a lot to the board by being positive. I suggest you try it.

Well that's kind of what fans do... When I was in school we played in the Wemo... I don't like Midway and never will... If that hurts your feelings I guess I'm Sorry.. As far as Lamar nothing bad was said besides people think they walk on water and they don't... I'm an Underdog guy I'm not one to jump on a teams wagon bc tthey beat teams 70-0 every week !! The Fact I've been cheering all year for Liberal or even sticking up for Lockwood that they wouldn't get turboed by Greenfield says different . I like my attitude... If you're not my team F you that's the way I look at it... Positive enough for you !?

One time I was from Jasper. I still live in the area, but I'm not affiliated with the school anymore. I'm more associated with another nearby community. Yet, Jasper is a hometown, and I'm not thrilled with seeing it get slammed in these posts, although one fan may be a bit overzealous (hey, he is still a fan though). One thing I will say about Jasper is it has had some very lean years, yet it never went JV only nor did it ever go 8-man. At least not yet. Not to say it never will. In fact, someday I wonder if every SRVC and even WEMO won't be 8-man, simply due to rural populations diminishing. I support Greenfield in what they are doing to hang on to the program, and I hope they can win the 8-man title. Survival is a game all these Class 1 programs are challenged with anyways, some more than others, and any year, it can change. The artist, Lowell Davis, once told me the biggest enemy to the family farm was the neighbor (big farms are buying out small farms and rural populations are diminishing as farmsteads become fields).

I understand rivals having bad blood, but with that normally comes a mutual respect. For instance their is mutual respect by "most" fans in the WEMO between rival schools. You'll rarely hear much over the top bravado between Midway & Adrian fans because it's almost always a battle and you never know when it may be your time in the barrel.

I just don't get why a Jasper fan would have such issues with Midway? They have only met in Football maybe once in the last 15 years? Heck, Drexel is the one who bounced them outta play last year.

I can guarantee you the Midway folks don't take the SRVC lightly.

Lord that's been over 20 yrs ago... If it happened it didn't happen alot. I don't think the yrs I played we didn't beat Midway. Adrian I don't have a clue.. I wish I could remember.. Thanks for making me feel old lol

No excuses Greenfield got beat in just about every way tonight. There were some great plays made by both teams. A few boneheaded ones too. Nice to have a game after a long wait good luck to SH next week
