Well I'd say the 22 other schools that get to have football because of 8 man tend to like it. I also would like to congratulate Jasper on their district win!!!

My 2 cents on this 8 man stuff and not trying to be hateful at all but 8man really is pretty blah. The feeling of a TD in 8 man I bet would be like the equivalent of a first down in 11 man. Seems like just so many points. And this game friday is silly. I'd hate to waste my money going to a game where the last spread was 60 some. Maybe when the season is over we could have the real Dade county bowl. This would be the last true contest for a very long time if ever.

I'm not gonna lie but I cracked up when I seen this. This just solidifies my complaint about this crap back in the beginning. The people that made this decision to stay 8 man, (which were basketball people) only had one thing in mind, winning and what's the easiest way to win. Basketball and Basketball mentality has hurt football more than the Board or the administration will ever say. I hear the argument that they only had 12 kids signed up when they made the decision to stay. That was the 12 returning and not including the younger kids coming up from JH. So the decision to stay 8 man has now cost these seniors games and memories of playing HS football like their family has . FBfan and anyone else from there can agree with me that this group if allowed to play 11 man could have been up there with some of the better Greenfield teams of all time. Atleast talent wise. I could have definately seen them competeing for an SRVC champioship. But now no one will ever know cause they aren't getting to play and when they do they are beating teams the equivalent of a JH or homeschool team. I know I'm not a Greenfield lover but I do want to see Dade county football promoted and played like it should or could be. This isn't.
Fbfan you know we aren't going anywhere. You've already stated you have connections to Lockwood foootball. Just unfortunate Greenfield isn't staying with us.

This team does have talent and they have worked hard but they are not close to one of the great teams as you say. In my opinion. Time will tell.

However they for sure would have competed at the top of srvc

Nope 9... As of last year Golden City had 54 total kids in high school if I remember right... They'd have a hard time fielding an 8 man team.. ROTFLMAO was used to emphasize How absurd your comment was !!

I get that but to pick against a team who has no chance to lose to Diamond.. That's just dumb imo. Even if he picks 1 no one else does and wins it he'll lose it bc no one in there right mind would pick Diamond just my opinion.
