acacia club road, you imply in your post that Jay Spoonhour isn't capable of being a good coach merely because he wasn't a really good player. That is total hogwash. There have been many fine coaches over the years that were not particularly great college players. The winningest coach of all time, Gene Bess, comes to mind. I'm not even sure he played college ball, much less starred on the college level. Charlie Spoonhour himself was not a great player. So your logic just doesn't wash. Besides that as one poster has already mentioned Jay already has a national tournament championship to his credit. Spoonie was not at his side either.
