What is his position? That Schools should be harder to enter and be safer, that the mental health system and govt should remove the criminally insane from the streets and incarcerated.

In a debate about guns in our society after innocent people are slaughtered in grocery stores and elementary schools you cite irrelevant statistics about auto accidents, etc. You would be laughed off the debate stage. These incidents create terror throughout the country. They aren’t the same as a lot of isolated auto accidents.

Olivarez offered several more details Thursday about the attack. He said the gunman, identified as Salvador Ramos, first shot his grandmother, drove to the school grounds and then gained access to the school through an unlocked door.
A school resource officer who was on the scene was armed, but it was unclear if the officer fired or what he did in response to the suspect's entry, Olivarez said. "We're trying to establish exactly what was his role and how did he encounter the shooter," he said. Two Uvalde Police officers followed behind the gunman into the school and were both shot, he said.

The 2A is not just about a well regulated militia.... it literally has comma's that break up the text....the right of the people(nothing about a militia) to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed. You can't work around that....

The term innocents being slaughtered at a grocery store is proof positive you deal in emotional manipulation....While I'd state statistical data about how the Odds are you will be slaughtered on the highway possibly in a multi car incident, in your bath tubs, by someone hitting you with their fists etc. before you would die from gun violence. The statistical Odds would favor my point.
I'd point out the Factual data that more people die in volume as well from a whole host of other more dangerous and deadly incidents than guns, that having a fear of dying from a Gun is irrational and not warranted because the Statistical data proves this beyond a shadow of a doubt. And you'd claim it creates terror and that the boogie man is around every corner carrying a AR15. Even though the science proves other wise.

Gun Laws and Back Ground Checks(which I support even though they don't work) don't stop the mentally insane/criminals from doing insane things. You cannot control human behavior on a mass scale in a Constitutional Republic. If this scares and upsets you then that is on you and you need to come to grips with this.
You want to debate the gun issue...at this point the Pro 2A gun rights people have zero interest in debating about giving up any Constitutional rights on gun ownership. 82 million people are not going to knuckle down and give up our Constitutional rights and compromise on the issue and give up one of our 393 million firearms to make you illogically feel safer from crazy people and criminals.
Not sure what gun owners are melting against.....gun ownership increased by millions in the last 3 years. More states are approving constitutional carry. People are waking up to the fact that the unarmed are easy prey for the criminal and insane element.
People are moving out of their fantasy land that the govt and laws will stop highly motivated bad people from inflicting pain and violence upon them and theirs and seeing through the veil of lies and figuring out that truly only they can protect themselves and theirs.
Thus gun sales to new owners has increased even in the face of the Highly Political and Propagandized rare mass shootings.
Staying vigilant is a must...I'm just glad the NRA,Gun Owners of America, the Second Amendment Foundation and other Gun Rights organizations fight the good fight. I'd suggest that any gun owner join one of these or all of these and donate to the cause if they truly believe in the Second Amendment.

I'm for Gay Marriage, LGBQ+ rights, Abortion, the legalization of Drugs and Everyone to be equal. Yeah I'm so Alt Right because I support conservative organizations that protect the Second Amendment and the Constitutional rights of every Citizens to bear Arms. And I think everyone who believes the same way should pony up cash to ensure we maintain those rights. Because no doubt the other side is fighting hard and working to take away those rights.....They have the gun control lobby working hard to take away gun rights...I support the gun rights lobbies to keep those rights..

I don't follow those people or shows...so I'm in he dark on that stuff. But if they are Pro 2A and understand that the Leftwing Democrats want to take away rights and freedoms, I applaud those efforts to stop it. While I disagree with their stance against other things. I do agree with them on that.

You don't have to watch those shows to be informed on what they stand for....heard of google or read or watch MSM outlets they very often erroneously label people and groups as alt-right and then proceed to list those attributes so being informed on what those people stand for doesn't have to entail watching them or the shows that promote them.
