Crazy game. I know one thing for sure. That Webb City defense tightened up in the late 4th. Gave the offense a chance to come back. And how about the finish.
Kearney recovered the fumbles, so they should get the praise instead of saying that Webb gave it away. It's all part of the game.

Absolutely. Kearney had something to do with those fumbles. Great game, Kearney made one more play than WC.
I've never been glued to the screen for a hs matchup before. This was great. And Webb City never gave up. Great schools and city/communities backing them up.
Hope South can squeak by the mighty CBC tonight. And of course Fort tomorrow.

Great game. Listened on the web and was glued to the iPhone the whole time. Hats off to both teams.
I was following on twitter and kept thinking Webb City would pull it out at the last minute like they did against Savannah in the 2011 semifinal. Great game.

As stated in another thread this game reminded me of that one (got to attend that very weird weather one in person) and I had the funny feeling Webb would do it again.....................crazy, crazy finish.
A program wins 5 state championships in a row wins 42 games in a row and you
lose 1 game, it happens , Kearney is a solid program and it was there day to win.
This takes nothing away from what Webb has done and what type of program
they have. They will simply lift weights, have a great summer program and be
very good again. There approach doesn't change when you win that much.

You just don't get it, do you (shock)? It is satire and pointed toward those back in August-September who were saying C4 was a one horse race. It had nothing to do with Webb or their fans...................as for the personal comment you couldn't be more wrong.
This game alone was worth the 14.95 for the weekends games.
Nwalls I think Kearney will be in the weight room themselves I told you they would show up and play the game. You earlier in the week said you either coach or did coach maybe you should spend a little more time with your team to make them better instead up jumping on someone's ban wagon. Kearney has been pretty good themselves for a while so I don't think they will just quit now they won another title.
Nwalls also said that winning doesn't matter to the great coaches lol
Great game to watch, however the above statements at different times clearly reflect how poorly this game was officiated. The Roderick fumble that was not named as such was clearly a fumble, however the last fumble was a touchdown as well. The ball simply has to touch the line, and he had clearly done this. So for the overall scheme, I believe Kearney deserved to win based on their play, however the game was clearly botched by poor officiating. I respect WC and equally respect a Kearney team with balls enough to come and remove them from the throne. If you don't love the caliber of football we enjoy (at High School level) then you don't really know much about the game.
The end justified the means then. I was merely eluding to the fact that the officials did poorly officiate and it would have been difficult for them to have made this call. Great game though, and Lamar won, so I am indifferent.

Oh I only cared about likes when I saw you got a trophy and points. Then found out they don't mean anything....so I don't care as much now.

The last fumble was clearly shown in the highlights broadcast. The handoff was muffed and he never had possession of the ball. It was bouncing around before he even reached the goal line. Clear fumble from the get-go. I missed the first half, but Webb really looked like they were going to take the game back in the 2nd. 2 fumbles inside the 5 yd line are the reason they didn't come away with the victory.
But equally remember...the more posts you post that do get likes...your percentage will go up....

I guess all I was saying is that in the 4th qtr, they drove the length of the field, seemingly at will and spoiled their chance of scoring, each time with a fumble inside the 5 yard line. 17-7 isn't a "sound beating" as far as I'm concerned.
