when some of us on here said we were afraid Trump might start a war or even launch Nukes if he lost the election. Apparently we were not alone. General Milleywas so alarmed by Trumps behavior that he was talking to his counter parts in other countries to assure them we would not launch on them and he was talking to his people to make sure it did not happen. I assume if the accounts in this book are accurate Milley could lose his career but he quite possibly saved the world from disaster. I can't imagine the authors of the book would have put this out if there weren't sure it is factually accurate.

That's ridiculous... Did Milley betray the country...no. Did he attempt to overthrow the government...no. He attempted to take action to save it. Trump is not the government even thought he attempted to rule it autocratically.

The one I was worried about. at the time was Iran. Not because they had a nuclear arsenal like China but I thought Trump thought he could get by with that without a major threat to the homeland.

A charge of treason can only be made when a formal declaration of war has been made by Congress. He may be guilty of a lot of other laws but it cant be treason.

Those very, very few who are able to admit when they have no idea what they are talking about (rather than the more frequent technique of doubling down on their mistakes) are exempt from my former remark.
