Professional Athletes are role models and should be held to the same high standard as a Classroom Teacher. Therefore if a Professional Athlete commits an act that would normally lead to a teacher losing their teaching certificate then the same should happen to the athlete. They're not held to a higher standard by their employer because they're role models. They're held to a higher standard because their employers don't want bad publicity to negatively affect profits.
