You are correct. I googled it and the media gave me 12 articles to chose from. I wish they only gave happy feel good stories.
Local Texas news reports 20,000 megawatts of renewable energy of the record setting 81,000 megawatts.
Tootsie McDuck, I was not nor am I disagreeing. Only stated the facts. I believe that we need wind and solar for exactly these reasons like Texas is seeing. But I do not believe it will ever totally replace fossil fuel with renewables.
What I read was in Sunday's WSJ. Read that one. The Wall Street Journal is a legit source.
I don't understand why people would be against solar power, it's like hating puppies or something.

Nobody is against solar, but people now understand that it and Wind has been sold like Snake Oil as a replacement for our energy needs....which it isn't and probably never will be.
No one believes that wind and solar power will solely power our country. Green alternatives need to be gradually introduced as an alternative to fossil fuels.
