Ok 3R...I have to brag a little. She pitched her first college game yesterday against St. Louis Community College. Walked the first hitter on four of the worst balls she has ever thrown, and that girl scored on a throwing error with 2 outs in the first. That was the only run scored. Went 7 innings, gave up 3 hits, 0 earned runs, and 10 k's in a 2-1 win.

Pitched again today against Hannibal_LaGrange and won 4-1. Had some issues hitting a "floating strike zone", but made pitches when she had to.

Was hoping Three Rivers was going to be there, but didn't see them.

3R was at Mineral Area Wednesday and U.T. Martin yesterday. Sounds to me like you should have talked her into making a visit down here.

Coach Jack only has 2 other teams in his play day at 3R on Oct. 11th. I reckon he would let them come down if they don't have full fall schedule yet.

She wanted to stay close to home for the first year or so, it hard to argue with that. She has a 20 minute drive to school and loves it.

If I'm not mistaken you guys have one of the kids that pitched on her AAU team.

Could be, he has some kids from St.Louis and one is a pitcher. I haven't even got all the new names down yet.

Yes that would be one of the new kids. Good luck to your grand daughter, except against 3R. At least I'll get to see her pitch again.
