Well I think some fans will be a little less cocky but I don't think there are many upset fans in Webb City right now.
Anyone that has been really paying attention to WC this season would know nothing has come that easy this year and it probably won't get much easier.

Choking on what? Did you miss something WEBB won Joey, theyre moving on. Did WEBB play the worst offensive game I have seen them play in 10 years, absolutely. The Defense played outstanding. If not for the fullout breakdown on CJs first possesion on 3rd and 14 or so where the ball was snapped over the QBs head and he made a hell of a play recovering and scrambling to an empty side of the field I am not for sure but doubt they had more than 8-10 first downs. WEBB put the ball on the ground 8 times. Im not for sure who FROG is talking about being cocky but if I am one I just posted the scores from the last ten games WEBB vs CJ have had. If thats being cocky oh well. Everyone on here talks about JROD being Mr. Honest, well incase you and FROG missed it he said post game interview it was one of the worst games hes ever coached, and that he did a bad job tonight. Regardless CJ shoulda won the game, but choke on it Joey they didnt..........

Webb looks very human. The backup qb (greek) did fantastic. I hope tyson gets healthy though. People perceive weather conditions like this in favor to a power running team like webb when its basically the opposite. Wc did not complete a pass and cj had 9 or 10 in the box coming full bore at every snap. Webb probably outgained them 3:1 but couldnt finish drives tonight. If im not mistaken its the first time since 03 webb didnt score in the first half
Read some of the ludicrous predictions that were made about this game. I mean this is comedy material now.
Only thing funny is your love for Calpreps who had WEBB by what 21. You mouth the "WEBBies" and talk about them choking yet in Chaotics pickem EVERYBODY had WEBB winning by a minimum of 3 TDs.
I said in an earlier thread lamar could play with any team in the state. Having said that I really believe Webb would have been beat badly by several teams they beat this year had they played them tonight. This is not the same level of play that Webb had over the past few years...not even close. I was worried about CJ and thought it might be a close game. All I knew was both CJ and Lamar put on a great offensive show in their last game and i believe Lamar would have kicked Webbs tail all over the field tonight. If Webb can not adjust to the rain and cold (and some kids just arent as good as others in bad weather) then we may see another close one real soon if the boys simply cant hold onto a wet football. Simple as that. I really dont want to play Lamar this year. The past few years since they have been great, i dont think it would have been close. Just like playing Rock in some of their best years would not have been fun to see for Webb. Their all high school athletes, coaching and play calling is important but if you cant hold onto the ball when no one is hitting you, well its not going to go to well against Valle either, just saying. And your certainly not going to get noticed by USA today! Webb may sqeak thru one more year but I'm most worried about next year. Webb should make it to state this year, but their more vulnerable than they have been in a long time. Hey, it was actually a very exciting game. That is why we watch them, after all. Hats off to CJ, i think they may have been as good or even a better team. To assume a dry night would have just helped Webb would be pretty one sided. Most of the "Webbies" actually know that. Why admit it though...Webb won, again...

No Joey is from Liberty and his kids play soccer at North. He has nothing to do with Kearney other than try and cast a negative light on us that are from there.
