German Inspector of the Military says after years of neglect his forces are "Standing Bare" and would be of little help to NATO in the face of Russian aggression.

We are loading up another 7000 troops and airlifting them to Europe today

Wait a second. Are we doing nothing to help or are we doing something to help? You can't seem to make up your mind.

We are sending troops to defend Germany and other NATO countries who wont defend themselves.

Dont think any US troops except a few advisors have been in Ukraine for a long time

Sounds like he wants some welfare.

Not our job to build everyone else's army.

Trump started a 25,000 US troop withdrawal from Germany in 2019. The generals, then Biden stopped that.

Boris would be in Poland by now..

His buddy Putin told him to so he did it. Trump was so weak .

Not as weak as Biden. The sanctions Joe out on Russia are weak but we are still buying oil from them. Joe is paying for their war on Ukraine

You realize all the oil gets put in one big tank right?

We should just keep 'our' oil but nah. Oil companies need record profits again and again. So we put 'our' oil in with the russians that's how the market works.

How many million barrels of oil we buy from Russia a month you do the math Einstein

You think 20 million barrels of oil a month is nothing. Boy you are dumb

The word is proven, genius.

How do you use proved and proven

Today, both proved and proven are now considered correct. Still, two major style guides, The Chicago Manual of Style and The Associated Press Stylebook, prefer proved as the past participle. Throughout the 1800s, grammar guides recommended proved over proven, and that advice has stuck with us to a certain extent.

Genius

Or Germans would have grown a pair and made their own boys spill their German blood to defend their own country and not our boys

8%.

Less than Mexico and waaay less than Canada at almost 50%.
Persian Gulf is only 9%.

Oil companies are gouging us right now. It's almost like they do this every time a Dumocrap is in power.

Wake up.

Dude we are still buying oil from Russia. Why is that so hard for you to understand. I can explain it to you but I can’t understand it for you. I don’t care what percent it is we are still buying oil from them. DO YOU UNDERSTAND

I'm a wake, explain how either political party set gas prices

They don't.
Inflation, however, was caused by injecting too much money into the economy. (Textbook definition)

Oil companies likely want GOP pres due to less taxation. Exxon loved those years of not paying any. The trump tax plan, as it were.

I'm sorry you don't get it.

Bless your heart.

over the last 100 years with inflation factored in Republican presidents have had an average price of $2.79 gallon, Democratic presidents $2.69 gallon.

Correct.
Lately what's it been?

Like say since...Clinton?

I know Shrub went into Iraq to boost oil company profits but seems like under obama and now biden they're getting the whammy

So maybe we should quit exporting the most oil in the world.

Oh wait. Corporate profits>murica.
Or at least increase the oil they get out of the the wells they have. The next thing the'll say is nit enough storage capacity to hold it at the refineries. So someone should tell us why they haven't increased that capacity over the years because they use the same excuse every time this happens.

"seems like under Obama and now Biden they're getting the wham" is an assumpion, not based on all the factors

Yep and the same people fall for it time after time.

Oil companies want to be rich. They don't care if you're paying more. They like it.

I agree, oil companies only care about profits. We subsidized oil, gas and coal trillions of dollars. I understand that the majority of campain money by oil and gas company's goes to the Republican party, I don't want to let the electric utilities off the hook, they are Republican backers also. I think you can see what the real problem is.

Yes the real problem is the oil companies want GOPers in the WH due to not having to pay taxes i.e. more profit.

I agree....but with everything in the world being Globally connected we have to do this crappy thing. It's the world worse situation. We bear the brunt of protecting the Euro trash countries all the while they do as the darn well please without regard to America. We'd of been better off making them client states with us pulling the strings.

It's Dem's policies that drive the gouging....not complicated.

Of course they do...why wouldn't they. They are beholding to make a profit by law for their investors.

Dem's don't control the free market.....Oil companies produce based on profit.
Also in 2019 & 2020 petroleum consumption decreased to a 25 year low. And for every energy-consuming sector it was down and just for tranportation it was down 15%. That was the reason for the record low gas prices in 2020 and early 2021. Be interesting what demand numbers will be for 2021 &2022

Also FYI the US exports more oil right now than we import. So we don't need Russian Oil or any we actually export more that we import making us a ne annual petroleum exporter.

Yep crude oil isn't crude oil,,,,, different grades easier to refine into different products. Easier to import some crude than to build a new refinery

I see that you're back and still ignorant.
LOL and you never left and still only flame without any valid opinions or logical input....And yes Dem's do drive the gouging. Their unfriendly oil company measures and policy's easily give the Oil companies reasons to throttle back production and drive up their profits. It's great business and a way for Oil Companies to get policies that benefit their profit margin. Cheap energy is a must for a Healthy Republic and economy. The public will eventually tire of high energy and higher prices because of it....this will usher in a change of power that is more Friendly to the energy sector.

This one is to funny not to share.
Elon appears to be in an attention seeking mode lately. Not sure what's up with that.

So why aren't the oil companies increasing their output? Surely they're not soaking us dry while they can.
