Smithville at Lafayette

I like smithville by a lot. My friends at Lafayette tell me that they really aren't that good this year. Savanna is the worst they've been in a while and nkc was also terrible. Central was a good win for the Irish and they beat a sloppy Benton team. Smithville is big, fast, strong, and disciplined which is something both lhs and bhs historically lack.
I don't feel comfortable making a selection since I've seen neither team. But I hear Lafayette is very athletic and Smithville is big. I'm excited to see these 2 go at it on the Game of the Week.
I think smithville needs to jump out to an early lead. If that happens, they have a good chance. If not, Lafayette rolls I think.
Both average Class 4, at best. Likely to battle in out for 3rd in a down MEC this year.
I watched the game yesterday.........don't know what it is but the volume is terrible. I turn my speakers all the way up and just barley hear you talking. I could hear the other guy better. The Lafayette field looked like it was in horrible condition. I know there are hills behind the field.......i'm sure all that water comes right down to the field. The game was a battle for sure. Enjoyed watching it.
Had an issue with one if our headsets and I couldn't wear it. And so I had to make him wear it so I could listen to audio. Yeah the field was awful. Feel like it would've been a different game if they played in better conditions.
