Right before half a punt block I actually called from my chair! (shameless bragging)..............Smithville converts for a FG but had a very near TD miss back of the end zone. At the halfway mark like the Warriors chances UNLESS they leave the back end of their D open like that PC drive.

He does and will second half. His only fault (was Kansas 6A all-state last year at SM Northwest last year) is he is undersized. Smithville is owning the lines but PC runs an offense that throws them a bit in my opinion.

The weather a definite factor. I still like Smithville in this one particularly in the 4th quarter. Since that home disaster vs. these same Pirates the Warriors have been finishing very, very well.

Good game. Platte had their chance but an open receiver dropping the ball ended it for them.. Boyd is a load no question there. Kid took a pretty good beating though.

For some strange reason Smithville seemed almost to both want to vanquish the earlier collapse then invite it right back with that prevent D. At this stage a win is a win..............they should throttle WBurg then it could get interesting especially if they face Hazelwood East.
