You can certainly tell Coach Boyer has run out of Johnsons discipline. Fundamentals were horrendous, stupid penalties that kept repeating themselves, and what's up with everyone looking like an individual? Different colored socks and some kids standing around with their helmets off. Playing 4 Class 3 schools and 4 Class 4 schools. Not a single Class 5 school on the schedule. You will win a lot of games but will never be prepared for Districts. Embarrassing.. Will save money on gas this year.

Had this on Pick Em then took it off at the last minute last weekend.............that'll learn me.

Johnson wasn't afraid to schedule Helias, Hickman, Kearney, Nixa. We may have gotten beat but played hard down the stretch. It's time to go Independent but the district won't do that..

Hasn't happened so far but Smith-Cotton would be a good fit for a central MO league including Helias Catholic, Battle, Hickman and Rock Bridge among other potential large school candidates.

^^This has been talked about with the WCC disassembling. Its where S-C should be now with being Class 5. Unfortunately, I don't see us being able to compete there....

It's ironic to hear about Smith-Cotton scheduling. I vividly remember the old time sedalians complaining when Mark got the program running again for the first time in 50 years that they weren't scheduling tough enough competition. Harrisonville, Kearney, Raytown South, Lees Summitt West, Grandview apparently weren't quality opponents...

Thats because it wasn't Jeff City or the Columbia schools like in the 50s (even though they were in the same class back then). Even though we did have Rock Bridge for a cycle in the mid-2000s and thats when we were Class 4.
