Seinfeld. Pryor. Winters. Dangerfield. Williams. All the well known comedians used to have to have “their people” clarify that they were joking after one of their bits. That’s when you know you are really an entertaining, funny SOB. When someone has to say “it was a joke”. Joking about 120,000 deaths is freakin hilarious.
Some people are so busy commenting on every topic they can’t yet quite grasp the sit down and listen part of learning.

Donald Trump flatly contradicted his aides on Tuesday when he said he does not "kid," after they had for days been arguing he was joking when he said at a weekend campaign rally he had told officials to slow down coronavirus testing.
It was yet another instance of the White House scrambling to come up with language to play down one of his comments that had triggered a firestorm, only to have Trump himself, in the end, providing a completely different explanation.
This time, top deputies had repeatedly argued Trump was kidding when he told supporters in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Saturday: "When you do testing to that extent, you're going to find more people, you're going to find more cases. So I said to my people, 'Slow the testing down, please.'"
But on Tuesday, Trump said he does not joke.
"I don’t kid," Trump told reporters outside the White House Tuesday, en route to speak to young supporters at a megachurch and visit the U.S.-Mexico border in Arizona, a coronavirus hotspot.
He should say, he was joking and testing hasn't been reduced. But we know why he doesn't.

Meanwhile the media coverage on spikes concentrates on Florida and Texas but not California. Yet we know the policies are stricter in California, who unfortunately have the largest spike.

Small sample size but I at my work at least 9 former Hillary voters are voting for Trump. The riots, Chop/Chaz, Identity politics, hate for the Police, censorship of movies,destruction of statues etc. have made them do a 180.. They dislike Trump, think he is a bully and a Moron but they are now scared of the Democratic parties support of Radicals.
My GF said the same thing is going on at her work, and that is why a lot of Social media has went dead from the independents and moderates. They are leaving twitter etc. and going silent because they know they are voting for Trump and don't want to let it be known.
I follow a Lot of Youtubers who cover Video games,movies and TV. All are Left leaning and even they are trending Trump at this time do to many of the things I mentioned above.
WE shall see because clearly the polls speak a different tune, but with the mechanics of polls only sampling 800 to 1,000 people which in the past was accurate do to the random nature of sampling across demographic groups but in the new Social Media world of Moral Superiority .....Conservative voters have become less forth coming in giving accurate information because of distrust couple that with many who purposeful give disinformation to benefit the conservative base and the accuracy of polls are less accurate than ever before.
I do urge any Conservative to never give honest answers to any poll.

It turns out to keep the economy unstable or shut down is a good Democrat election strategy. It doesn't mean they are not a lying pile of garbage.

Went to a mini family reunion of my wife’s extended family last weekend. Other than me, my daughter and son, every adult there was brought up in a conservative Christian repub family.
We were there for hours. I made it a point not to get involved in any conversations when it came to politics. The men mostly stuck to what will happen with football this fall and/or what was up with their jobs/businesses.
But I listened in to what everyone else was talking about. There were 10 adult women there including 8 with at least one college degree. Nine of the 10 women freakin HATE Trump and wouldn’t vote for him if their lives depended on it. One was a Trump fan.
They were especially disgusted with the handling of Rona by our beloved president. I was so happy and proud hearing their thoughts I stayed all day. Trump is in deep shat.
