Sikeston Train and the Rocket group. Can you guys give the St. Louis ares coaches reasons for scheduling the Holifield coached Sikeston Bulldogs?
1. St. Dominic Christmas tournament------7 years in this 8 team tournament ( Sikeston has won 20 out of 21 games )
2. The Zumwalt North tournament----Sikeston has never been defeated out of 5 years. ( 15-0 )
2. Sikeston's scheduled games over the past 6-7 years with St. Louis area teams. Chaminade has defeated Sikeston the last two season, I believe Sikeston has only been defeated by one other St. Louis area team.
When we do the math.
St, Dominic Christmas----------Won 20 out of 21
Zumwalt North Tournament----Won 15 out of 15
Sikeston's scheduled games with St. Louis area teams over the past 7 seasons------Sikeston has won 18 out of 21 games.
Sikeston's record's against St. Louis area teams---------53----4
Sikeston Train and the Rocket group, can you guys give the basketball coaches and athletic directors why they should schedule games and invite the Bulldogs to area tournaments? It appears to me the Sikeston Bulldogs are just too good for St. Louis area teams.
What do you mean why should they schedule them? Sikeston provides great competition. Why would they not want to play Sikeston? Other than travel, which is a big factor.
Bucket Lover...metro is being condescending towards the Dogs. He is also being a troll, although it’s a poor attempt. He’s just trying to elicit a response from Bulldog Nation. He is also suggesting, in my opinion, that the Dogs don’t schedule any competition when playing in the Lou. It’s really a slap in the face of the quality teams we play.
Rocket, you are out of line. The records speak for it's self. The truth is indeed the Sikeston Bulldogs are too good for St. Louis area competition. Sikeston proved my point when the Bulldogs defeated St. Mary's last years in the sectionals. Many area fans believed St. Mary's was the best team in St. Louis last season.
Rocket, you are entitled to your opinion but you attack when I give my opinion. Are you taking things way to serious when discussing Sikeston basketball.
I thought the only reason Sikeston scheduled the STL teams is because the Golden State Warriors wuz skeerd (sarcasm intended).
Sikeston has defeated St. Louis area teams over 90% of the time over the past 7 years. That show the Bulldog dominance. Rocket has posted scheduling as a reason for his response. I have not said anything about scheduling in this post. The facts show the Southeast Missouri Sikeston Bulldogs have a great team with a high winning percentage against all opponents not just the St. Louis area.
I can not think of any high school teams in Missouri who has a won over 90% of their games over a seven year period. The Sikeston Bulldogs are in elite company when it comes to winning basketball games, one of the more popular high school teams in Missouri with a great fan base. I find it a unusual to find this post about the Sikeston Bulldogs as non complimentary by Bucket, Rocket and brother Rocketbro.
What did I say? Although I find it funny that for years you wanted Sikeston to play St. Louis teams but now all of a sudden they are "too good" for St. Louis. Pretty comical statement.
Bucket, you appear to be a highly regarded dues paying and card caring member of the " Rocket Brothers Gang ."
What movie was that from? Having trouble recalling ... age.I will be your Huckleberry......
What movie was that from? Having trouble recalling ... age.
Tombstone
Rockets----Who do you guys see as competition for the undefeated Sikeston Bulldogs? Zumwalt South should be the competition if Bellinger plays. Bellinger, a scholarship player @ Belmont has only played one game this year.
