After the win last week, I should have known not to even think about the possibility that the VIKES, YES the VIKES, could play a Super Bowl in their home stadium.

This is a special one. Not only did they lose, they lost in a way they hadn't accomplished all year against traditional far superior QBs.

They set it up, just enough to let all of the fans down again. It's just cruel man.

I bet if you asked any fan living in Minny, they will tell you they would have rather the Vikes had an average season than to go 14-4. It's gonna be some nice salt in the wounds.

I’m sure it hurts now, but I’m a Lions fan, and I bet if you asked any Lions fan they’d trade places with you (or any fan living in Minny) in a heart beat!

That was supposed to say "with the Super Bowl in Minny". Gonna be a nice two week reminder in their back yard.

So much went wrong with that game, don't even know where to start. Pretty good core team and should be sitting in a good position next year. But they have to shore up both OL and DL.

Always next year.

And yes, I understand the losing organizations would love to get to that point. But blowing NFCG's the way they have is not a fun experience.

They could have lost the way the Saints did. That's worse. A game winning drive to the one inch line, and a scoop and score is worse. Just saying

Yeah it could always be worse. I think the 2015 Blair Witch missed FG hurt worse. I could handle a loss, 28-14ish. The team I watched get destroyed the other night was nowhere near the team I watch shut down teams that had far superior QB's at the helm. Combination of coaching and players hearing about how great they were for a week.

Ahh. On to next year. Should be an interesting offseason for them. Need to get two QB's and they have the money to do it. The teams window should be open for awhile.
