Better to stick to your local schools....Mizzou, K State. Oh, and even Kansas if CMU or Mo valley don't offer you a full ride. http://www.foxsports.com/ohio/story/mike-weber-ohio-state-buckeyes-detroit-cass-tech-stan-drayton-2615-020615?adbsc=social_20150207_40120686&adbid=363853433798783&adbpl=fb&adbpr=284454818405312

This was BS. Building a relationship, signing him on nsd and waiting to announce you are leaving until the next day. Player, is there any criticism that you will ever agree with? You would defend the Manson family.

Totally agree with you Player and with the Pea Brains on here that isnt good for you LOL. If a player is butt hurt over an assistant leaving like thats the only reason he was going there Hell release him to sign elsewhere. I understand recruits feeling bad or upset because a head coach left but a running backs coach? Dont get it. Its not like Emmit Smith was there. The head coach runs his offense him leaving changes your entire offense but not an assistant. I could even understand being upset by a coordinator leaving but an assistant, come on man. Shady LOL....

So if this story was about Defensive Line Coach of the Year Coach Kuhl pulling the same thing after Beckner Jr commits at Mizzou, you wouldn't have any criticism for that? Players do commit to assistant coaches, those they'll likely have a much stronger relationship with than their head coach. If it is also their position coach with a reputation for great player development at the position, than that is a huge factor why a kid commits to the school.

If this coach was selling the school, the program, etc though and not his ability to develop/coach the player, than I don't think it is a big deal at all and the kid should expect coaching changes throughout his career as part of the experience. Especially at tOSU where their coaches are going to be in demand for promotions from other schools/teams.

Im about as level-headed as it gets and try to remain pretty unbiased when it comes to this stuff and had this happened to a guy committed to Mizzou or any other program for that matter, then I wouldn't think much of it either.

It sounds like an ex-Michigan player who is now this kids coach is the one really throwing out the criticism.

Now, if he requested to be released from tOSU, and they didn't give it to him, I would be disappointed. The fact that it was a potential Michigan signee makes it even more complicated.

There is a lot shadier stuff going out there than that, however.
