You asking Seriously, I would get up and leave If I saw him coming in, and the first thing I am doing is calling the cops I don't know with all that is going on if he is a good guy or bad guy. And people like him are the ones that are doing more harm than good when it comes to gun ownership today. Sure he might be a good guy and he has his rights, but I hate to go into places and see this, or people have a gun strapped to their side is just as bad. Again I respect their right to carrier, I just get up and go someplace else.
Here is the thing how do you know he is a good guy how does a guy that might have a conceal and carry and sees him walking across the parking lot doesn't assume he is going in to shoot the place up and decides to put one right between his eyes before that, or we have an old fashion wild west shoot out. This is getting crazy. It is a macho little man syndrome... look what I can carry around and I dare you to stop me.
While having a rifle strapped to your back is foolish looking and probably less effective than a concealed handgun, no harm is caused.
How in the world can you think that is a good idea? When the cops show up at a shooting scene what are they supposed to do with that???? I'm bettin he would have his gun off his back by then and they would take him out on site.

See Duck I wonder about your mental state if that is what you hear, Because while I hear a certain tone from Trump that in all honesty I don't like, I also hear the Truth our border is not secure and currently our immigration system is broken. I also see the news and with my own I eyes I see an invasion of people wanting to get into America at all cost. I think we need to fix that. I don't hear him saying go out and shoot somebody, but you do? So should we be concerned what else are the voices in your head telling you?

Here is the thing bullit. You don’t hear Trump telling you to shoot anyone. I don’t hear it.
But a kid in Allen Texas heard it. He drove 10 hours. Posted on the internet he was going to stop the invasion and killed 22 people in the most Mexican town he could get to.
After Trump started calling the press the enemy of the people, we had the maga bomber sending bombs to CNN personnel. He just got sentenced to 20 years.
Trump has callous disregard for whom he endangers. And he is the freakin president.
That is akin to calling the cops on a black man passing out flyers in your neighborhood for his lawn mowing business and you calling the cops because it makes you uncomfortable because he doesn’t belong in your neighborhood.
In Missouri as long as he is not brandishing the weapon or making any threats he is breaking absolutily no law. Even if the store has a “no guns” sign on the door he is still breaking no law in our state.
If you call the cops the dispatcher should ask you if the man is threatening anyone,,,,if the answer is no the dispatcher should tell you no law is being broken and to let the man eat his ice cream in peace
Okay Duck I can enjoy this we are having a conversation you are being honest, so I am going to be honest.
So I am not going to argue about the tone...to be honest I have been disappointed in some of the things he has said and how he has framed it, I agree it is not very presidential, and I just don't like it, I think he could tone it down a bit however, in my eyes that is just being PC correct for the PC police.
When he was running for Pres I didn't like alot of things he said, but since he has been in office his policies are not that bad, but I don't think he is very presidential at times if not ever, I think he tries but then cannot stay on script. It reminds me of the old saying, you can take the person out of the trailer park, but you cannot take the trailer park out of the person.
I don't think Trump is racists no more than I think my dad is, but they just say things differently than I would today out in public.

Bueno, you are correct on most counts, however we also have a you see something you say something on the books. So even if the man is not breaking any laws you can call the cops report what you see and let them decide what happens and if there is any risk.
I am sure alot of people saw the killer get the gun out of his car strap up and start walking across the Wal Mart parking lot and nobody probable called anybody, how many people ignored that? You should report suspicious behavior and sorry with all the mass shootings going on right now a white man with an AK47 with a bump stock and a large amo magazine in the local Starbucks is just a bit suspicious in this day and age with all that is going on.
And I agree, I said I don't think he is being very presidential. However to be honest I don't think alot of Dems can run on that either, I am afraid times are changing or have changed, it seems we all want to yell past each other. I gave you my very honest opinion. and again I like that we can have an open conversation.
Presidents being presidential never seem to solve our problems. Trump can certainly do no worse.
Economy is great, wages up,,ISIS defeated, the guy isnt doing a bad job.
I carry every day and would NEVER open carry. I young lady at McDonalds with her kids shouldn’t have to deal with it.
It is however the law in our state,
And you never know, that guy in Starbucks might save your life some day. Screwed up world we live in

I agree, I think the Dems while pointing fingers need to realize they have 3 pointing back at them. Some of the issues we are facing as a nation and some of the blame of the hate can also be laid at their feet. The dems say he lets give everybody who inters the country illegally free health care. Let's give them free education, let's give them free this and that. Well what about the citizens who live here now, when you hear that you begin to feel frustrated. They stir the fire also.
While things are doing good, wages and benefits for the middle class have not kept up with the top percent, Trickle down is still not working, tax cuts are not creating good paying jobs, they are creating jobs, but wages are very flat. Health care cost is rising. There are some things that need to be addressed still yet. With all that being said I didn't vote for him last election, I will probable vote for him this election. And that is because of the stance the Dems have on immigration. They will first have to change that go back to what they were before Trump was elected, which was pretty much Trumps stance now with out the rhetoric. For the most Part Trump has forced the Pubs to take some of the Dems stands on immigration, on Nafta, and on China, which has forced the Dems to no longer back labor....
I don't know that I wouldn't think a thing about it but, I doubt any of these killers are brandishing their guns about. These people are cowards and wait until they have total advantage.
If someone walks towards the restaurant with a rifle strapped on, i'm thinking they are an attention seeking fool but i'm not concerned until a shot is fired or a threat is made. My family might be terrified but they can survive that. I understand why people would be concerned but i'm just not wired that way. To me, the gun poses no threat, i'm focused on the individual.
We'll see if it causes no harm when one of those 'good guys with a gun' gets shot by police and people call for them to be fired and prosecuted.

So you would rather a shooter in Starbucks shoot your kid on purpose, than someone trying to stop him accidentally hitting him?? Standing by and hoping he runs out of ammunition isn’t a very good game plan
You know, if he could only purchase a 10 bullet magazine, our Bullit could tackle him when he fumbles around with reloading.
Tuco, a long rifle draped over your shoulder is no match for a small had gun. He would probable have a bullet between his eyes before he could swing it around to get off a good shot.
I see a guy carrying something like that and me and my family are already gone. But I have to say I am seriously now thinking about getting my conceal and carry. Lots of idiots out there.
