These are just based upon my own personal predictions. (For geographical clarification: SEMO [Southeast Missouri] refers to teams in Districts 1-4)

CLASS 1
1. Bismarck (12-3)
2. Leopold (13-1-3)
3. Bernie (9-4)
4. St. Vincent (11-6)
5. Advance (9-9-2)
Runners up: Greenville, Kingston

CLASS 2
1. Arcadia Valley (10-4-1)
2. Jefferson (Festus) (10-7-1)
3. Saxony Lutheran (8-8-3)
4. Valle Catholic (8-5)
5. Clearwater (10-6-2)
Runners up: Bloomfield, Portageville

CLASS 3
1. St. Pius X (Festus) (19-4-1)
2. Windsor (Imperial) (15-2-1)
3. Dexter (18-2-1)
4. Central (Park Hills) (12-3)
5. North County (11-2-1)
Runners up: Notre Dame (Cape Girardeau), Perryville

Looks pretty good. AV had a big win last night over Bismarck
Class 3 is loaded when you have ND and Perryville listed as runners up. I think they both might have an edge over NC. Ste. Gen could get in the conversation if they can beat Farmington or NC this week.

Saw that, vbsideout. Looks like the traditional volleyball powerhouses in Ste. Genevieve County are stepping it up midseason. Valle Catholic also defeated Bismarck and North County recently. I think the Lady Warriors ended up taking second in the St. Charles West Invitational this past weekend, losing in the championship game to Mehlville (I think).

Valle lost a tough one tonight against Perryville. You have to give Valle a lot of credit for playing one of the toughest schedules in the area.

Agreed, vbsideout. Lately they seem to have a funk at the beginning of the season but they really start to pick it up during the midseason and usually finish strong as the season progresses. Nancy Fischer is a volleyball legend and sure does know her stuff.

According to the Ste. Genevieve Twitter feed, it was 36-34, 26-24. Sounds like that must have been one heck of a game to watch. I don't think I've ever seen a score go that high in volleyball, at least not around here.

Both teams played hard and well. It was fun to watch. Probably neither can beat St. Pius, but that will be a fun district to watch as will NDs Perryville and Dexter's. Class 3 in this area has some good teams and I think one of them will get to the final 4
