Will Trump be willing to spend enough of his own money to run a decent campaign for another year? I seriously doubt he really thought he would be in this position for very long.

Total guess, but I think for now he's continuing to focus on using social media and other free outlets for publicity. I think he has to invest some in Iowa at some point if he wants to have a chance in the caucuses, though. On the ground organization is more important there than we might think. It's a big part of how Kerry and Obama won in Iowa, as well as the evangelicals on the right in the past couple caucuses.

I could see him putting money up if his chances of the nomination look good in December, but I bet he holds back for now.

That's the point of my question. When field thins out will he spend what it takes to run his campaign for another year? I don't think he ever dreamed he would be in this situation even for this short amount of time.
