Sarcoxie unveils new facility

Sarcoxie will have a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting ceremony prior to Friday night's Homecoming game against Diamond. Facilities include new Turf Field, an 8 Lane Track and new Bleachers on the West side of the Field. All former students are encouraged to attend to help celebrate the event. Reserved/Commemorative seats (with names to be placed on the seats) are being sold for $150 each.

This looks like it will be a very nice facility and one of the nicest in Southwest Missouri compared to other Class 1 Schools. I think Webb's track only has 7 lanes.

Looks pretty nice, we will never get one of those here at Valle. But we made add a few more titles. I would love to have that facility. Just don't think it's in the budget. You know we need all the extra cash to pay our top rank recruits!!

Looks pretty nice, we will never get one of those here at Valle. But we made add a few more titles. I would love to have that facility. Just don't think it's in the budget. You know we need all the extra cash to pay our top rank recruits!!

I think the question that everyone wants to ask but is afraid to, has there been upgrades to the concession stands and can they now serve funnel cakes!?!?!?

My source said the field is done and bleachers are to be completed tomorrow. Guessing only - that there will still be lanes to paint etc on the track. I may be wrong but I thought I heard $2.5 M. I think concession stand(s) in the plan, not sure if complete.

Also heard that they had been saving for this to be done a couple years down the road but they went ahead and pulled the trigger because they have a top notch high jumper that is in the national spotlight?

Maybe Valle should put in turf like Ste. Gen. Kenny. They do seem to play the most important game of the year on turf in the dome every year.
