Wow... Salem started the year state ranked. What happened to them? Congrats to Owensville.

Crazy things happen in districts every year it seems like. St. James is undefeated and gets knocked off, Grandview loses to 4 seed Steelville, Salem loses to Owensville, Thayer loses to a team that had already lost to teams Thayer had beaten. That's the reality of a one and done tournament, it only takes one game and the best teams don't always win that one game format.

That is too bad about Salem. They had a good team this year. I thought they could contend for a district title this year.
