Eagles were shut out by St. Joe Central and barely beat KC East................K will no doubt win but WOW.
K keeps rotating QBs when it is so obvious who the #1 should be......................just saying.
Does one happen to have the same surname as a coach?
You never know week to week BUT given this 30-20 halftime score and how sloppy and disorganized they look BOTH SIDES OF THE BALL I would agree. Tonka will come steaming in 5 and 0, too. When they made the change in Game 1, they should have stuck with that move - and kept him off D (where he was injured in game 2), and special teams. I don't see the W over Tonka, unless there is significant improvement.
THIS really is why I have come to the conclusion we need a change at the top...............but it is a bit of an asterisk season so far. Just expect the team to look far more organized and efficient. You never know week to week BUT given this 30-20 halftime score and how sloppy and disorganized they look BOTH SIDES OF THE BALL I would agree. Tonka will come steaming in 5 and 0, too.

That figures. Not going into the politics..................tempted as this scientist is.There are 3 kids quarantined (from a positive Smithville player) - but that shouldn't result in a close game against Ruskin. As down of a season as it has been, I still expected them to turbo Ruskin.
t'now IDon’t do it, tophat!
Three D starters out with COVID. They scored 0 for 3.5 quarters.Eagles were shut out by St. Joe Central and barely beat KC East................K will no doubt win but WOW.
THE hot mom? Thats saddens me. Everyone always refers to it as the hot Kearney MOMS. To imply there has only been one hot Kearney mom this entire time, well, that's ruins my Friday night. No - and not the hot mom either....
Kearney JV D should shut out Ruskin..................Three D starters out with COVID. They scored 0 for 3.5 quarters.
NKC was smarting from that shocking loss to Fort O who is VERY VERY young this year. Gonna get A or B from them..............look what happened to them at Raytown tonight.Another surprise in the Northland: NKC defeats Platte County 42-37. Blue Division very much up for grabs between Smithville, Platte County, and Winnetonka, all who have yet to face each other this season.
Have you watched them play this year?Kearney JV D should shut out Ruskin..................
Ruskin yes. Got shut out by St.Joe Central and barely beat East last week.Have you watched them play this year?

Ruskin is not traditionally a very strong ball club are they?
Looks like they ran it up after half. Tsk tsk tskRuskin is not traditionally a very strong ball club are they? I am surprised they gave the bulldogs a scare.
It was essentially the first quarter then K did give up a head scratching TD drive right before half. Second half they did come out with some attitude and rolled them..................as expected. Next up will be probably their #1 challenge of the season: road tilt at Grain Valley.Ruskin is not traditionally a very strong ball club are they? I am surprised they gave the bulldogs a scare.
Some of what has happened at Ruskin mystifies me because they absorbed Hickman Mills (man do I miss them!). I thought that would make the Eagles very competitive but the opposite has happened.Ruskin is not traditionally a very strong ball club are they? I am surprised they gave the bulldogs a scare.
Hell of an assumption, especially since straight from his mouth, it was more than economics. On the Jones front that was pure economics. A very good, upward move on his part.
Well he was treated beyond well in Kearney and was always very appreciative so not sure where you are leading with this. We are very passionate fans. Spoiled? Sure...............four titles will do that to you. Still doesn't change my OPINION based on what I see on the field these days.Hell of an assumption, especially since straight from his mouth, it was more than economics.
Jones stays and has roughly the same results (even if they were slightly better than Gray's) and his legacy is totally different. He knew what was coming up and made a push to move up. If he was going to win two or three more titles at Kearney, he would still be there winning them. He could have left for the money sooner, but there were still rounds left in the mag.Well he was treated beyond well in Kearney and was always very appreciative so not sure where you are leading with this. 2018 had a very strong roster. Just my 2 cents but I still feel that team really underachieved. Trust me I get coaching is a profession and these guys are very loyal to one another (and should be). I've just never been sold on the current staff...................just an opinion, everyone. Ultimately it is up to the school administration if they want to make a change. I just point out some things (remember I am a scientific professional so am very detail oriented) that give me cause for concern. Again I've been pretty adamant about the fact I sure don't have the ANSWERS just OPINIONS.Jones stays and has roughly the same results (even if they were slightly better than Gray's) and his legacy is totally different. I like and respect O Line. He is one of the top posters on this site..............I think we just diverge on the KTown HC issue. Also love to remind everyone I am just some fan with opinions NOT any kind of "insider" or "expert". Got a very positive story nobody on this site is talking about................YET that is happening in SWMO coming right up!To quote Bosko, who is quoting tophat, "WHOA NELLY!!"
