Are we really cheering for the misfortune of young men getting an opportunity to chase their dreams? All because a shady private school poached them?

Veerman you have to remember that these are deeply hateful adults who passionately want young kids to not succeed. This is their character you cant be that surprised.

I surely am not going to cheer about something like that, but I'm not ready to call failed drug tests Bad Luck (definition of misfortune)

The OP is cheering for a suspension. Never gave any detail.

Misfortune????? Guy failed drug test he got what he deserved. Will be selling weed in the street corner with DGB in a few years

Unfortunate that Perkins and the other kids that got suspended couldn't keep their noses clean for another month or so. Now they're gonna miss out on the biggest game of the season. Hopefully they learn from this situation and don't turn it into a downward spiral of problems like so many other that have had similar issues.

THIS ONE, this one here. The Marvin Burks jokes have officially past the expiration date. I mean Jesus did you even pretend to be witty even a little?
The Marvin Burks stunt is truly in rarified air, one that literally sounds made up. New HS coaching lows like that just don't come around very often. Probably will be awhile before that one fades. To borrow one of your favs, "it's life."

Its just weed? That is the freaking attitude that got him and the other two in trouble. Fact is, it is against the rules... DON'T DO IT.

if alcohol stayed in ones system for 30 days a program couldnt field a team. unless they were over 21. nobody cares about weed anymore, some never did. opioids have killed tens of thousands of people and alcohol even worse. btw north carolina broke some rules and kept their bb championship. too bad mizzou didnt have 80 million lying around to give their attorneys.

I do get what you are saying... But, as I have said to fellow Oklahoma fans that are trying to justify the usage or say that players at other schools do it and get to play... I DONT CARE.. Its against the rules, dont freakin do it... or be willing to suffer the consequences if you do.. Its my same opinion with the North Carolina thing you keep bringing up... Them getting away with it does not mean MIZZOU cheated any less.... Yes, it sucks that NC seems to have got away with something, although a little different, I do see why you lump them together, but it doesnt mean that the Tigers did not do it and should not pay.

how did mizzou the institution cheat. the tutor was doing it on her own and went on twitter to try to make money off the entire incident. she was heavily in debt. you think if it was clemson ou or bama they would be banned from the playoffs...no friggin way. nc the institution set up fake classes and steered the bb players to them so they could be eligible. they wouldnt spend 80 million if they werent in on the scheme.

The biggest game of the season is the next one

The biggest game of the season is the next one
If they make it to that one, but as that is not guaranteed by default this will be the biggest game of the season for both LSU and OU until one of them moves onto the NC game
