Somebody needs to make a chart for Hwy 71,,,Lamar, Jasper, Carthage, Webb City (think they would total 27??)
Hmmm.....because Jasper has been such a powerhouse the last 20 years? The Alan Wormington days are a bit further back.
No disrespect. Just saying their last and only ship was 1979. I thought I might get a comment from someone for coming up with that name from yesteryear. He put Jasper on the map before Patrick Swayze and Roadhouse. LOL.

In the older days, it did for awhile. Range Line up through Madison in Webb was "71." The current route around Carthage was 71 Alternate. It later changed, and 71 pretty much has the same track as I-49 today.
We’ve both been on this board long enough to know that all roads go thru Webb City!!!
And SWMO... Mother Road, Jefferson Highway, Wire Road, Shawnee Trail, Trail of Tears... need we go on?

Well that's kind of strange because I just took the exit off of I49 north and it clearly says "71/171 North Webb City" I can send you a picture so you don't get lost next time you come through and want to tour the Meca of all things football
Alan Wormington lived next door to me in Pierce City. One day, this huge black limo pulls up with Brad Wesley Enterprises written on the side of it. Within a week, the family had moved out and I didn't see Allan again until the next football season.
