When if ever is the last time that Rockhurst finished the regular season below .500 ? I don't recall that ever happening before. It has been a very strange season in Class 6 in the KC area.

I went to their last game against Jeff City. There not the typical Rockhurst that I've seen put it to the Jays in the past. Their running back Taylor is outstanding though.

In the 30+ years I have seen them play, I have never seen a sub 500 year. and I think the worst year I have seen before this year for Blue Springs was 500 back many years until this year.

District Semi watch.............Jeff City at Blue Springs South should be something. I could easily see no KC metro C6 teams making it to the Dome this year.

Blue Springs South would be a 12 point favorite over Jeff City. That will be one to watch.

Just something to consider - Mandatory Testing at Rockhurst.

...as in the mandatory entrance exam? Maybe it's the mandatory final exams that comprises 20% of the semester grade. Certainly the academic standards have claimed more than one football athlete eligibility in recent years.

Let's not get too far out over our ski's, they were in the state championship game last year. Also Miege has done a good job of selling their program to private school types. sending a lot a kids D1.

FYI its no harder to get into Rock than it is any other high school. trust me no one gets turned away. I love it when people make huge deal on social media about getting accepted, EVERYONE gets accepted.
