Moses Okpala 6'8" Sophomore came to St. Louis last year to play with St. Louis Christian ( Not a member of our MSHSAA ) Moses did not like St. Louis Christian and moved into an apartment. A family in Ladue is " Home Staying " Moses who is now playing for the Ladue Rams who is a member of the MSHSAA. Rocket, could you explain to me and Mosports why Moses is eligible to play @ Ladue. I attended the Ladue @ Borgia game last night which Borgia won. Ladue won the 16 team MICDS Christmas last week but class 4 Borgia was the better team last night.

The above information was given to me by one of the asst coaches @ Ladue. I was a believer that only private schools enroll students from out of the USA. I was wrong.

I was reading comments on semo.com concerning the Sikeston @ Chaminade game next week. These comments gave a good description of what will happen next week. It will be tough for the Bulldogs to compete with a much larger and more skilled Chaminade squad. Chaminade will play Champaign Central on 1-6-17 @ the Highland shootout. It would not surprise me to see Chaminade coming into the Sikeston game on a one game losing streak.

Semo.com posters were promoting a Sikeston-Vashon game in a class 4 quarter-final game latter in the season. This game may not happen because St. Mary's 12-0 is better then Vashon @ this stage of the season. Looking @ St. Mary's schedule, I believe they will be undefeated going into that sectional meeting with Vashon. St. Mary's can compete with any high school in Missouri and have a chance to win and they want to play Sikeston @ Sikeston next year. Kelvin Lee is trying to beef up their schedule and he likes the atmosphere @ Sikeston.

Rocket, I hope to see you @ the Chaminade-Sikeston game with information and telephone numbers that might be of interest to you. Rocket, could you post on mosports if there will be JV game played @ Chaminade on 1-10-17?

St. Mary's is not better than Vashon.

Hood, do you think Vashon could defeat SLUH? Webster will play @ Vashon latter this month and C. Gordon will be playing. Do you think Vashon can defeat Webster @ Vashon? St. Mary's won the Meramec Christmas and all the male dogs were in there except Chaminade and Vashon, ( St. L ouis side )
St. Mary's is not better than Vashon.

Hood, you may be correct however let's look back in the class 4 district on 3-4-16. Vashon defeated St. Mary's 60-49. The star players for St. Mary's are listed below. St. Mary;s is 20 points better then last year's team. The question is- I don't believe Vashon is better then last year's team that won the Class 4 state championship?

Yuri Collins-------9th grade------5'11"
Tony Burks-------Sophomore---6'2"
Yahuza Rasas---Sophomore--6'6"

The star players for St. Mary's are the above players but they are a year older and wiser. These three players can compete with any of Vashon's top players plus more very good players.

St. Mary's 12-0 won the Meramec Christmas Tournament and the St. Louis area's big guns were in the tournament.

Vashon 9-2 has three schedule games remaining.

SLUH @ Vashon-------------------2-10-17--SLUH is flat loaded

Webster @ Vashon------------------2-16-17--C, Gordon will play in this game.

Vashon @ Hazelwood Central----2-22-17--

What a way for Tony Iron's to get ready for Districts and beyond. Vashon could very well be the underdog in two of the three game listed above.

Metro...I will be at the Sikeston-Chaminade game. There is no JV game, only the varsity contest at 6.

I still have your email from last year. I'll send you an email shortly.
