Like I said in another thread. Rockhurst dont get the horses they use to. They sharing them with Bishop Miege.
When WC beat Rock they were the Class 6 runner up. Now you could make a case that after losing to WC that maybe going to Rock lost some of its luster but that would probably be giving WC too much credit.
Surprising loss to RB though and it does appear that Rock is not the dominant program that they used to be.
No...the rich white kids arent playing football anymore . And the ones that are, are now split with Bishop Miege in Kansas...actually the best FB program in KC. Rock only has one 9th grade team . Unless major changes take place...expecting challenging years ahead.

The lines are still stout as ever in my opinion. It is the skill position talent that seems to have diminished. Some suspect the emergence of Aquinas and especially Miege on the KS side has something to do with it.

Polo got blown out by Christ Prep (KS) tonight. However as that is my Mom's alma mater I agree with you..............
If Kearney would make it deep in the playoffs then it wouldn't be that way but they rarely make it ...yet Webb is there about 90% of the time so you are talking about Kearneys once in awhile great teams vs Webb's regular team yearly
What does WC and Kearney have to do with Rock and Rock Bridge?
It does just appear like to me there is more parity in KC area Class 6 and it isn’t just Rock and Blue Springs while at the same time there is less parity in St Louis with CBC, possibly Kirkwood and then everyone else.

Piggybacking off this thread here is another BIG storyline from Week 1: Columbia MO HSFB appears to be on an overall upswing this year as Hickman, Battle and Rock Bridge all won. RB upset the Rock, Hickman shocked last year's very narrow C5 runner up Pattonville and Battle rolled SLUH.
Proving that Top can read the paper,,,,funny how the guy will never predict a score before the game,,,that way he is never wrong

With all due respect, you make yourself look ignorant in attempting to criticize Webb's program and success. Yay, clay county has two teams with winning records vs Webb. So 1 time ever (every) 4 or 5 years your team is better than theirs but the in between you are not there and Webb is likely winning another title. PS: I've nothing to do with Webbs program, but like I said, your constant criticism make you look a fool, otherwise you generally have something intelligent to say. Just my opinion.

I think it kills him that Webb is so successful. He globs on to the fact that Kearney is 500 against Webb. Nevermind the fact that Webb has been in the semifinals 19/21 years .
