When the average voter learns that the wonderful sounding Medicare for all raises their taxes and eliminates their employer provided insurance, it will be DOA.
But the majority of Americans do and they will lose their employer "free" insurance AND have to pay more too.Majority of the people who would benefit from Medicare for all don't pay any taxes.
I never had that employer 'free insurance' you speak of and I worked for a pretty big company for a long time. I have medicare now and it only covers 80% of 'some' medical care then I have some supplements that cost me a considerable amount to cover 'some' of the rest of my healthcare. Eye and dental care are NOT included in any of that. But the majority of Americans do and they will lose their employer "free" insurance AND have to pay more too.
Very few have employer coverage that is free but, what you have is generally good insurance unlike Medicare that only covers hospitalization. The supplements aren't real expensive but considering you pay your whole working life for Medicare, it seems like a bad deal to me if I can't use it for day to day insurance. It's NOT what most people need. The idea of "Medicare for all" makes me scream WHY would I WANT that?I never had that employer 'free insurance' you speak of and I worked for a pretty big company for a long time. What do you mean by day to day insurance?Very few have employer coverage that is free but, what you have is generally good insurance unlike Medicare that only covers hospitalization. Insurance that covers day to day healthcare needs as opposed to just hospitalization like Medicare. What do you mean by day to day insurance?

Who told you medicare is only for hospitalization?
What? I dont even want to guess what moron said that.
Part A...the part you pay for your whole life....just covers hospitalization.Who told you medicare is only for hospitalization?
You need to shop around a little. I pay less than $150 a month for my two supplements. My only prescription costs me less than 2 bucks a month. I have eye and dental through my wife's job but she will retire in a couple of years.Part A...the part you pay for your whole life....just covers hospitalization.
Part B....you buy a supplement for.....covers Dr visits, ambulance, ER, etc.
Part D....you buy a supplement for....covers prescriptions.
To have full coverage Medicare costs about $400 a month after paying your whole working life to have Medicare in retirement.
Delaney is full of crap.
