I’d take those odds.
I personally see Mt Vernon winning by 14+
I would tend to agree. But they have played in some real big battles the last few years. I could easily see them keep this one close
Reeds was down with three minutes to go in this one; in their game winning TD drive, they had to overcome three fourth downs (they are tough, for sure)…
…similarly, it took Mt.Vernon a long TD pass on a 4th and 15 with 2min left to take the lead against Rog in their matchup back in week four…

Depends on which MV team shows up honestly. Monett should have beat Reeds, but we got blown out by MV the next week.
Should have beat RS? Really? I guess I can see that point of view.. but I can also see how one could say it should have been a TURBO CLOCK.
Yeah depends on the fan for sure. LOL
But I hope Tommy Cox and neers run Reeds over!!!! ... after all Reeds is running away from the conference.

Yeah, possibly back to back titles and no worse than a 1st and a 2nd ... you got us, we are scared to compete... The Neers are really good and it gets no better than Tom Cox, it should be a good game...

Sure looks that way, Reeds could have stayed? So if Reeds is not scared then why are you going to an easier conference?

And yes Tommy is one of the better ones even if the man wears that terrible green and White. I am old and that man was coaching the Neers back when I was in high school. They had some of the toughest teams back then.
You can argue in some sports it is not easier. But, look at the travel, mid week trips to Nevada, Lamar, McDonald County, Seneca? Friday Nights are one thing but middle of the week is another with school the next morning. When you look at the entire picture, it was the right choice.
Oh I understand, Monday night to Nevada just from Monett is a long trip. But honestly I thought Reeds was a good fit in the conference, out of all of the teams leaving you guys and LogRog are the ones I hate to see go. Honestly I would have rather seen cAssville leave, I would be happy if we never play them again LOL
