Brandon Weis, a former standout player at Raytown and most recently an assistant at Liberty (7 seasons) will lead the Blue Jay basketball program.
Weis graduated in 1996 at Raytown before moving on to play at Northwest Missouri State.
Weis replaces his former head coach Mark Scanlon who retires following 30 seasons as a teacher/coach, the past 22 at Raytown. Scanlon earned his 500th career victory earlier this season.
