They are NOT overrated in C4. Ray-Pec is yet another C6 team on a major 2019 upswing. The main thing is no key injuries for the Pirates. If that is the case back to winning next week..............and well beyond.

With this win and their previous win over Belton, Ray Pec has to be a favorite in Class 4.

And that's why good teams have nothing to gain from playing down a class or two. Even if they win big, people will mock it.

But, and please correct me if I am wrong, doesn't the KC Suburban Conferences determine their teams' non-conference opponents? If so, Ray-Pec didn't chose to play Platte County. Belton, on the other hand, is their main rival, at least historically.

There is some say: rivalries outside of conference like Truman-Chrisman, Park Hill-PHS, Ray-Ray South always seems to happen. NKC played Hickman, doubt that was scheduled by conference. Same when teams play Rockhurst.
