Wow, class 3 is loaded again in SWMO, 5 of the top 10 from there, and that's not including Mansfield who should be ranked. Cue the arguments about ELDO not being SWMO lol...
Fair Grove not also being ranked in Class 3 is another big oversight.
Not too sure about Blue Eye at #6 in Class 2, they lost all five starters and are seeded 5th in their own tournament, they lost to #4 seed Forsyth tonight. Guess that is more of a reputation thing since they've been so good for years under Elfrink, who is no longer there.
Miller is in a similar situation but they have a great freshman class and will still probably be good.
Lebanon can make some noise in Class 6 if they get good guard play to go with McCowan and Shockley up front.
Should Nixa be ranked too? I know they are younger than normal but they have a lot of talent as usual. Kickapoo lost a lot and are very young without proven scorers but in their first game they put up 80+ on Joplin, who granted isn't very good, but still.
Keep an eye on Parkview. They don't have a lot of depth but they return everyone and have Masten, who is as fun to watch as anyone in the area.

Greenfield not ranked or mentioned in class 1 is a surprise.
Miller ranked way to high. Good chance them and #5 College Heights play Thursday in semi finals of Diamond Tourney. Greenfield will play Diamond in other semi finals.
Fair Grove not even being mentioned shows how little effort the coaches put into these polls.
Republic vs Strafford tomorrow night should be fun.

Yeah I forgot about Greenfield. they will be formidable in Class 1 just like they would have if they were in Class 2.
Strafford vs Republic is probably the best early season game in this area, that I know of. The semi finals and final of the Fair Grove tournament will be fun too

The Burke girl gets lost at CJ. She looked better as a freshman at CH than she has at CJ. I know the competition is apples and oranges, but her and her whole team for that matter get caught standing and watching their superstar too much.
It is interesting that CJs best 4 minutes last night was when Buerge was out with 4 fouls. However last year they played better as a team than they did last night. I expect it will eventually revert to last year.

They have several girls that can play. DB needs to have more faith in her teammates if she does they are state contenders.
I was surprised to see WP at #1 in the rankings.
Also surprised to see CJ and WP both ranked above Helias and Whitfield.

To be fair, those schools are in St Louis, and there are a lot of schools in the St Louis area and they have to be split into 3 or 4 districts each season.
Tipton dropping into Class 2 makes them…IMO…a favorite for this year. They are absolutely loaded. Didn’t they return everyone from last year?
I would say you are right....last three games they beat Class 4 #9 California. Class 4 #6 Cardinal Ritter and Class 1 #3 Leeton.
